At Language for Learners
At Language for Learners, our weekend Punjabi classes are thoughtfully designed to help children ages 4–6 and 7–9 build a strong foundation in language while having fun and connecting with their culture.
We use a play-based, screen-free approach that engages young minds through movement, music, storytelling, and hands-on activities—all in a safe, nurturing environment in Brampton.
What We Teach
Speaking & Listening
Vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational Punjabi
Reading & Writing
Letter recognition, basic word building, and sentence formation (age-appropriate)
Cultural Connection
Songs, stories, and celebrations that connect children to Punjabi traditions
Confidence & Communication
Encouraging children to speak in a group, ask questions, and express themselves in Punjabi
Two Age Groups, Tailored Lessons
Ages 4–6
Focus on exposure, listening, speaking, and building comfort with the language through play and repetition.
Ages 7–9
Expanded focus on sentence structure, writing, and reading skills with interactive exercises that build language confidence.
Class Details
- Duration: 60 minutes per class
- Format: In-person, play-based learning (no screens!)
- Location: Brampton
- Frequency: Weekly weekend sessions
- Extras: Weekly homework + parent conversation tips sent via email
